Cook Systems International Wins 5-Year Contract with Metro Government of Nashville and Davidson County

The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County recently awarded Cook Systems International with the IS Temporary Personnel Services contract. The 5-year contract became effective December 1, 2009.
Cook Systems International will provide Metro with temporary information technology employee services on an as needed basis. These services included providing highly-skilled resources for specialized information technology positions.
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is comprised of 60 departments, divisions, agencies, boards and elected officials with approximately 12,000 full and part-time employees. As a large municipality, Metro is required to conduct requests for specialized information technology, position-specific classifications, in accordance with applicable Metro, State and Federal laws, regulations and procedures as well as best business practices.
The award continues Cook Systems International strong history of providing services to its government clients since 1994 including similar large engagements at the State of Arkansas and also the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Cook Systems International's state and local government portfolio has continued to expand since last year after winning additional contracts with the State of Tennessee and the State of Florida.
